Basic Composition
Laser generator: generates high-energy laser beam as the energy source for the cladding process.
Beam transmission system: Transmit the laser beam generated by the laser generator to the cladding head to ensure the stability and accuracy of the laser beam.
Cladding head: focuses the laser beam onto the surface of the workpiece to achieve laser cladding processing.
Table and 5-axis control system: the table is used to place the workpiece to be processed, and the 5-axis control system realises the precise control of the table and the cladding head to ensure the flexibility and accuracy of the process.
Powder feeding system: The metal alloy powder is transported to the cladding area and synchronised with the laser beam to form the molten pool.
Working Principle
The working principle of the 5-axis automatic laser cladding machine is to generate a high energy laser beam through the laser generator, which is transported to the cladding head through the beam transmission system. The cladding head focuses the laser beam on the surface of the workpiece, while the powder feeding system transports the metal alloy powder to the cladding area. The laser beam and the metal alloy powder are synchronously applied to the surface of the workpiece, resulting in rapid melting of the workpiece surface material and the formation of a molten pool with the metal alloy powder. The molten pool solidifies rapidly in a very short time, forming a high-strength, high-hardness cladding layer.
